XL World, a Xerox Company is recruiting Software Support Senior Manager (.NET Software Lead)

We are looking for an innovative senior software engineer with strong software development background and solid experience in industry-standard technologies who will contribute towards all aspects of software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning, nalysis, design, architecture and programming for major and minor software releases.
• Develop high quality code in accordance with coding standards guidelines, and QA code from junior developers.
• Deploy software on live customer projects and follow through to success.
• Develop unit test cases, debug and execprocessing and performing all jobs in an efficient manner with limited assistance from management
• Mentor junior developers in the team; plan and dispatch work, and track projects, ensuring a timely and quality delivery.
• Contribute extensively in aute in a development environment.
• Provide assistance to testers, support personnel as needed to determine system problems
• Research and recommend software tools to management
• Ensure compliance of team members with company policies.

Desired candidate profile:

• Minimum 4 to 6 years of hands on development experience in OO Programming, 4 years in .NET
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, identify ambiguity, drive for clarity (asking only when necessary) and deliver effectively
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and daily practice of AGILE and SCRUM methodologies.
• Good understanding of object oriented design.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong and effective inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and identify ambiguity and drive for clarity
• Capable of handling multiple tasks concurrently
• Minimum 4 to 6 years of hands on development experience

Technical Requirements:

• C#, ASP.NET, XML Web Services, .NET Remoting, SQL Server 2008, SOAP, SSRS, .NET 3.5, WPF, WCF, Silverlight etc.

Education

• Bachelor’s in Engineering/MCA
