01All ParticipantsWorld University Service Austria invites exceptional students of law, economics, political sciences, international relations, information technologies or related disciplines to take part in the BCC 2010.

The Balkan Case Challenge (BCC) aims at opening up opportunities and new perspectives for excellent students from Albania, Austria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia through strengthening links between higher education and employment and by the provision of concrete job opportunities. In addition, the Balkan Case Challenge contributes to an increased awareness about the potentials of South-Eastern Europe/the Balkans – being an integrative part of a joint Europe.

The first stage of the competition will take place in the weekend of April 24th-25th 2010 in Bucharest. The winners will receive the chance to participate in the finals of the BCC 2010 International Case Study Competition, in July 6th-11th 2010 in Vienna, along with peers from 11 other countries from Central and South-Eastern Europe. All expenses for both stages are covered by WUS Austria.

At both competition levels students participate in one of the four academic disciplines:

– Business Case Competition

– Model European Council

– Law Moot Court

– ICT Case Competition

In addition, the Balkan Case Challenge facilitates recruitment during both stages of the competition, where students present themselves to potential employers and representatives of international companies get the chance to recruit future staff from the region.

Applications must be submitted until March 1st 2010, using the online form provided at http://bcchallenge.org/general/main.php?akcija=new_user.
