After the successfully held First International Scientific Conference „Cultural Corridor Sofia-Ohrid – cultural tourism without boundaries” in July, 2011, Tourism Department at Faculty of Economics, SWU „Neofit Rilski” kindly invites you to participate in the Second International Scientific Conference „Cultural Road Via Pontica – Cultural Tourism without boundaries” which will be held in the period 21.09.2012 – 25.09.2012 with conference days in sea resort DUNI, Bourgas district, Bulgaria and a travelling seminar to Istanbul, Turkey. Co-organizers are the Union of scientists in Bulgaria, branch Blagoevgrad; Department „Culturology” at SWU „Neofit Rilski”; Department „Economics and organisation of tourism” at the University of Economics, Varna and Faculty of tourism and hospitality, Ohrid at the University „St. Kliment Ohridski”, Bitola, Macedonia.
The purpose of this forum is to focus on preservation and sustainable use of the cultural heritage through establishment and development of an integrated cultural tourism which goes beyond national boundaries and grounds on the common cultural values and historic roots of people along the Cultural road Via Pontica which passes through the west and south coast of Black sea, crossing Turkey, Bulgaria and Romania.
