Festivalul Culturii Coreene, la Iași

În perioada 23-24 iunie 2016 va avea loc la Iași, cu sprijinul Universității Alexandru Ioan Cuza și al Bibliotecii Central Universitare, Festivalul-Maraton al Culturii Coreene.

 

22 iunie

 

13:00-16:00: Cursuri de dans tradițional coreeanalături de trupa „Do Dance Company”, Casa de Cultură a Studenților,Iași;

19:00-21:00: Proiecția filmului coreean „The FatalEncounter (Mânia regelui)”, Aula Magna „Mihai Eminescu”, Universitatea„Alexandru IoanCuza” din Iași;

 

23 iunie

10:00-12:00: Atelier de Hanji (artacoreeană a “modelării” hârtiei) organizat de prof. Yoo-ra Lee & artiști Hanji , Sala Senatului, Universitatea „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” din Iași;

14:00-15:30: Seminar dedicat culturii coreene alături de prof. Byung-Ki Kim – “The spirit of Korean Calligraphy and itspractical use in our time”, Sala Senatului, Universitatea „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” din Iași;

18:00-20:15: Spectacol de dans K-Pop alături de trupa “Seoul Beat”, spectacolde caligrafie (prof. Byung-ki Kim), prezentare Hanbok (costumul tradițional coreean), organizată de designer-ul Mi-hwa Sel; și nu în ultimul rând, spectacolul de dans și muzică tradiționalăcoreeană susținut de trupa „Do Dance Company”,Aula Magna, Bilioteca Centrală Universitară ”Mihai Eminescu”

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea (South Korea) in Bucharest will host the third edition of the Korean Culture Relay Festival this year.  The festival will take place in Iași on June 22-23 and continue in Bucharest on June 24-July 17, with the support of Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași, “Mihai Eminescu” Central University Library in Iași, the Bucharest Municipality Museum -“Suțu Palace” and the Romanian-American University (RAU) in Bucharest.

This year, the festival will extend  to Iași for the first time, where it will showcase a series of Korean Culture events co-organized by the Korean Embassy and Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași: Korean film screening, seminar on Korean Calligraphy, traditional Korean dancing class, Hanji (traditional Korean hand-made paper) handicraft workshop, Hanbok (traditional Korean dress) fashion show, Calligraphy performance and traditional Korean music & dance performance.

In Bucharest, other than traditional Korean dancing & music class, workshops and performances which will be held in the Romanian-American University (RAU) on June 24-25, two separate special exhibitions of Korean Calligraphy artworks & Hanji crafts will be held at the Bucharest Municipal Museum -“Suțu Palace” on June 25-July 17.

The schedule of the 2016 Korean Culture Relay Festival is as follows:

June 22 (Wed), 13:00-16:00: traditional Korean dancing class held by “Do Dance Company”, Student Cultural House, Iași;

June 22 (Wed), 19:00-21:00: screening of Korean film “The Fatal Encounter (King’s Wrath)”, Mihai Eminescu Aula Magna, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași;

June 23 (Thu), 10:00-12:00: Hanji (traditional Korean hand-made paper) handicraft workshop by professor Yoo-ra Lee & Hanji artists, Senate Room, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași;

June 23 (Thu), 14:00-15:30: Seminar on Korean Culture by professor Byung-Ki Kim, entitled “The spirit of Korean Calligraphy and its practical use in our time”, Senate Room, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași;

June 23 (Thu), 18:00-20:15: K-Pop dance performance by “Seoul Beat”, Calligraphy performance by professor Byung-ki Kim, Hanbok (traditional Korean dress) fashion show by designer Mi-hwa Sel, traditional Korean music & dance performance by “Do Dance Company”, Aula Magna, Mihai Eminescu Central University Library, Iași;

June 24 (Fri), 14:00-17:00: traditional Korean dancing class held by “Do Dance Company”, RAU Fitness Club, Bucharest;

June 24 (Fri), 14:00-17:00: Samulnori (traditional Korean percussion music) class by artist Jaehwan Jang, RAU Protocol Room, Bucharest;

 

June 25 (Sat), 11:00-12:00: Opening ceremony of Korean Calligraphy artworks & Hanji crafts Exhibitions, the Bucharest Municipality Museum- “Suțu Palace”, Bucharest;afis pt print A2 v6 de PRINT

June 25 (Sat), 18:00-20:15: Samulnori performance by Pureun Narae (Azure Wings), Romanian – Korean Studies Center’s samulnori team, Calligraphy performance by professor Byung-ki Kim, Hanbok (traditional Korean dress) fashion show by designer Mi-hwa Sel, traditional Korean music & dance performance by “Do Dance Company”, Aula Magna, Romanian-American University (RAU), Bucharest;

June 25(Sat) – July 17(Sun): Korean Calligraphy artworks & Hanji crafts Exhibitions, Bucharest Municipality Museum -“Suțu Palace”, Bucharest;
